Sanna Wani (she/her) is a Kashmiri-Canadian writer, editor and translator living in Etobicoke, an Anglicized word originating from the Mississauga First Nation word “wah-do-be-kang” (also spelled as “wadoopikaang” or “Adobigok”), which translates to “place where the alders grow.”

Her debut collection won the 2023 Trillium Award for Poetry. She is the creator and host of the podcast, Poet Talk; a member of the Daybreak Poets Collective; Poetry Editor at The Ex-Puritan; and Publicity Manager at Between the Lines. She loves daisies, pottery, and her dog, Juniper.
